  Great place to do all your shopping all under one roof. However; when I go there at Christmas time to buy a large quantity of can foods, pancake mix, hamburger helper, and stuffing for our churches food hamper program that helps needy families, the staff and management team gives me a rough time. In 2016, a manager actually at first said that they would not allow me to buy all that I wanted to for charity. Keep in mind I didn't take all of the items on their shelves. There was still plenty of product on the shelves for other patrons to buy. After arguing with the manager, she finally relented but it sure took away from my joy of buying these items for those in need. Shame on you Walmart for being rude and illogical towards people who wish to bless others buy purchasing items that gets placed in boxes and delivered to families in need of these items during the holiday season of love and caring. Its too bad Walmart' staff and management at the Upper James location doesn't know the meaning of Christmas.

  Typical large store. Gone are the old days. Good to support America. While here i will also say i was shocked to find out Roots clothing is made in Bangladesh. I was believing i was supporting a Canadian company. Are they still Canadian owned? I didn't mind paying the high prices thinking it was made in Canada which i know it was. That was problably only in the beginning. Who knows how long they have "fleeced" me for haha. Well it will happen no longer. The clothing should be much much cheaper made in Bangladesh where the workers make 5cents per hour making Roots clothing. I did research that. I hope all Canadians boycott this scam. I am very disapointed. They also support and give the clothing to the Canadian Olympic team. Not for goodness for advertising and its free advertising which we all know is huge dollars especially for the games .. Cant we find a Canadian company ? Do we have any ? God help us.
